Customer Review: The view is too small, can't see much of anything.

We intend to use this periscope inside a toy cardboard house we built for the kids. The plan is to bore a hole in the middle to place the periscope so they can see outside from inside the box. Sounds fun? Not really. The view is too small. The view only fits a single face on it, close to 1' by 1'. They should make this wide angle view. It is too hard to find and see anything. It is like looking for a tiny airplane in the sky using a peephole. Not worth it.
Construction is fine. It is just a piece of telescoping plastic pipes than extends to 14". But at least it would help if it is more functional than this.
