A horrible skin reaction to a competing product led me to search online about allergies and face paint, at which point I discovered a newly reported study showing that many hobby-shop face paints (INCLUDING THIS BRAND) are contaminated with toxins such as lead and common allergens such as nickel. ***Alex brand Face Paints, in fact, had the highest levels of lead out of the 10 brands tested. with 43 times as much lead as the maximum levels permitted in the water supply.*** Before you use this product (or any similar ones) on yourself or your child, I highly recommend you read this report on the
