I am all for making homeade Halloween costumes. When I was a kid, I'd spend days and weeks on it, and it was just as fun as the actual event. Back then, somehow, we had more time. For those of us who come up short on time, there is a fantastic option. And one that is not just for Halloween.
Aeromax makes true-to-life costumes that are made to last forever. They are authentic and very good looking, this photograph doesn't do the actual costume justice--it's really quite spectacular for a child's costome. This is perfect for everyday play and for the classroom. This firefighter costume looks exactly like the uniforms real firefighters wear. My son is a huge fan of all things firefighter--fire trucks, uniforms, etc. and went bananas for this costume.
If it's necessary to purchase a costume for Halloween, I think it's important to get something of quality that has long term use. This costume will be cherished and passed down from kid to kid. My son has already said he wants to save it for his kids and as well made as this is, that is completely doable. Love it!

My son is two and is very into firefighters and fire trucks, so there was no choice to be made when it came to his Halloween costume this year. This costume is by far the best quality of any I have ever seen. It is made of durable materials that will withstand many, many wearings - which is good, because my son LOVES to wear it. My son is on the tall and slender side, but the suit is adjustable in many ways that allow it to fit most kids ages 2 to 3. I am assuming he'll still be wearing it next year without any issue. We'll get lots of use out of this one for Halloween and pretend play, so despite it being a bit more expensive than most other fire fighter costumes it's a really great buy.Customer Review: Best costume- don't think- Buy!

Absolutely amazing costume. My 2 year old is obsessed with firetrucks, so I bought this for him (in a size 4-5 yr as he is already 36 inches tall). The costume is so authentic, and incredibly well made. This will definitely be around for years. Not at all your usual flimsy halloween outfit. Actually, I was at the Children's Museum in Manhattan last week, and this is the same costume that they have for the kids to dress up in- so you can guess how sturdy it is. Anyway, if you are on the fence about which firefighter costume to get, just go for this one- you'll love it.Customer Review: great dress up for littl boys

This was more money than other firefighters costumes but very much worth it. It came the week before Halloween. My son wore this so much in 1 week (he is 3 yrs. old by the way)it had to be washed before the holiday. It was beautifully. It has been worn again and again since and has been washed several times. It is one of those costumes that a child will get alot of wear from. It is also very realistic looking. He loves it. The only complaint he had when he opened it is "Where are the hoses?". We got this costume for Halloween 2010. We got it today. The costume is amazing. Quality great. If you are getting a firefighter outfit for your kid this is the one to buy. The helmet is nice not a cheap one at all. The only problem is the suspenders they are hard to put on and off but I guess that is good cause it won't come off. My son wont take the outfit off he loves it.
You will not be disappointed if you get this outfit.
