We have been searching for a shuttle for a year now and are glad to have found this one. The shuttle itself is durable, yet safe enough for my one year old to play with as well as my older two. They love to fly around, dropping off the rocket boosters and the re-landing on the launch pad. The space vehicle and astonauts are an added bonus, even though they do not fit together. As a first shuttle toy, you can't beat it!Customer Review: very fun, not for rough play

My 3 year old is very interested in space and LOVES this toy. Having said that one has to make sure that her child plays carefully with it----the payload doors don't really close, the robotic arm is a bit hard to use and the satellite dish on the truck is difficult to put back on. My son loved this toy and was so excited when he first opened it. Unfortunately it is not as durable as it looks. The only part that has survived after 3 months use is the shuttle minus one door. The shuttle is made of heavy metal but the rest is cheap plastic. It sure was fun for him while it lasted.Customer Review: Cheap, don't waste your money

The shuttle bay door will fall off in no time. The booster rockets will be next. The ability to stand it up on the launch pad will last a few days at best. And the robot arm is cheap garbage. My son is very into space and rockets right now (he's 3) so I thought that he would like this toy. That is an understatement! He LOVES this toy. Every piece is well made and has supplied him with hours of imaginative and inventive play!
