We exchange silly ornaments every year... and I had been looking for a pickle ornament to follow the German tradition of hiding the gherkin in the tree, so the first to find it Christmas morning gets a special gift. Well, I couldn't pass up a YODELING pickle. Once we recieved it, we screwed a screw-eye into the top and wrapped it up in a pickle jar for my sis-in-law. They thought it was great fun, her kids loved it, and now they have a pickle to hide in the tree. Hopefully it turns into a silly/fun holiday tradition for them. The song is pretty funny, you can't help laughing when it starts to yodel.Customer Review: Best for Cheering a Person Up!

I bought this at an Oktoberfest celebration at a huge brewery/winery/hotel in Troutdale, OR (suburb of Portland). At 1st I thought it was too much $$ (same as offerred here) & they didn't have one open to "demo" when I 1st saw it.
After a few wonderful micro-brews, I went back to the vendor table to buy it. By then, they had one open to listen to...I bought it immediately and am sooo glad I did. It's a great tension-reliever around my house and cheers everyone up!
I'm buying several for Christmas presents this year! You can't go wrong with a yodeling pickle!

As far as electronic yodelling pickles go, there is no other product on the market that looks as realistic or yodells better than the electronic yodelling pickle. Perhaps you hesitate to purchase the electronic yodelling pickle because you think it may be too technical to operate? Don't! This electronic yodelling pickle works with just a press of the button.
If your used to limp, life-less, joy-less pickles than its time to experience the incredible effect of a pickle that stands up straight and lets out a yodel just for the pure joy of it!

My mother-in-law is a champion yodeler. She yodels every minute of the day when she is happy, nervous or even sad. She said it is great for the heart. I can't forget the most touching moment when she was at hospital hall yodeling to the tune of Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" when my wife was in labor.
Unfortunately, she decided to go home after a household dispute about food. I don't miss her, but I miss her yodeling. Anyway, I named my Yodeling Pickle, MIL; in honor of my mother-in-law.

This is just plain fun. It is so ridiculous it was one of those things you just "gotta have". This makes people laugh and puts a smile on the face of anyone who hears it going into it's yodel. The sound is clear and loud and I would recommend this as a gift for the person who has everything. I rated the educational value with 5 stars because it's a good lesson to kids to see how a clever idea and good marketing can be profitable!! We love it - every home should have one! :-)
